VIBRATORY
COMPOUNDS- ABRASIVE
Abrasive mass finishing compounds contain insoluble abrasive material for the purpose of expediting deburring and finishing operations. These products are particularly effective when used with hardened steel parts or parts where surface improvement is required. Abrasive compounds are utilized in closed vibratory or tumble finishing systems

COMPOUNDS- BURNISHING
Burnishing compounds provide bright, clean, lustrous results from mass finishing operations. Used following deburring or abrasive operations, they will restore color and are useful in removing spent materials which may interfere with subsequent processing. When used with hardened steel media, burnishing compounds produce especially bright finishes on stainless steel and non-ferrous parts which can be used as the final finish in many instances.

COMPOUNDS- CLEANING, RUST INHIBITING
Mass finishing cleaning compounds are utilized to remove oils, greases and other contaminants either during mass finishing processing or prior to the use of other processes. These materials are also employed where low-thru or non-abrasive deburring operations are being performed. In addition to providing clean parts, they also serve the purpose of keeping media sharp and free from glazing.

COMPOUNDS- DESCALING & BLEACHING
Descaling compounds remove scale, rust, tarnish and discoloration from ferrous and non-ferrous metals. These products are also used as a bleach to restore natural metal color to parts which have been subjected to prior processing.

MEDIA- CERAMIC
Ceramic media is recommended for general purpose polishing, light and heavy deburring, fast and extra fast deburring and ultra aggressive metal removal. Ceramic media is best for heavy cutting and hard metals. When a small media is required (under 3/4"), ceramics offer the best selection. Ceramic media supports very heavy parts better than plastic media.

MEDIA- PLASTIC
Recommended for general metal removal, pre-painted or pre-plated finishing, polishing, fast and heavy cutting. Plastic media is used for soft metals (brass and aluminum) or stringy materials to avoid rolling the burr over into a hole. It will produce a very smooth finish but very little shine.

MEDIA- STEEL
Steel is a non-consumable media. Its durability and increased working pressure make steel the ideal media for a variety of finishes. Steel media produces a burr-free, bright, smooth surface. Parts processed with steel media have longer cycle lives and greater resistance to wear as a result of compressive stress action -- a beneficial by product of the finishing process.
